When Grout Looks Uneven or Permanently Stained
Grout often loses its original colour over time due to moisture, dirt, cleaning products and general wear. This can leave tiled areas looking patchy, dull or inconsistent, even after a thorough clean.
In many cases, the grout itself is still structurally sound, but the surface has become permanently discoloured. This is where grout colour sealing can be a suitable solution.
Instead of removing the grout, this process restores a uniform colour across the surface, improving the overall appearance without the need for full regrouting.

Grout colour sealing involves applying a coloured sealant over existing grout lines to create a more even, consistent finish. At the same time, it adds a layer of protection that helps reduce moisture absorption and staining.

If the grout is cracked, loose or deteriorating, colour sealing may not be suitable on its own. In those cases, repair or regrouting may be recommended before applying a colour seal.

Very very happy with Victor. He identified hidden areas where our walk-in shower was leaking, re-grouted the failing grout and re-sealed where necessary. It was a labour intensive job but he finished in one day to help us out. It looks better than new!

Viktor recently completed regrouting and resealing of 3 showers in our home.
